I love to make Maverick homemade treats but I only have 1 recipe. I feel like Maverick needs some variety to his homemade treats so do you have a recipe for your favorite homemade dog treats? Share it here!

  1. Maverick's Favorite Doggie Cookies

    Ingredients:
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 cup rolled oats
    1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
    2 large eggs
    1/2 cup +2 tbsp water
    1/2 cup dried milk
    1 cup peanut butter

    Directions:
    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
    2. In a large bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients. In a smaller bowl, beat the eggs lightly. Add water and peanut butter. Gently combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
    3. Knead with your hands until you have a smooth ball of dough.
    4. Flatten dough with a rolling pin. Use a cookie cutter to cut out fun shapes. Or you can bake as one big cookie then break apart once cooled.
    5. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden. If you want your treats to be softer, take them out 10 minutes early.
